Install

Get Forms — €49. Download wp-adapter-forms-0.2.0.zip from Account. Not the editor zip.
WordPress 7.1.3+, PHP 8.1+, HTTPS. Upload. Activate.
WP Adapter Forms → Connect this site.
Point Claude at https://wpadapter.com/mcp. Get started.

The site does not grow a form builder. You will see Connect, a sync button, and shortcodes for live forms.

Your Stripe

Open Account → Forms. Paste the publishable key (pk_) and secret key (sk_). Live or test — match the pair. Checkout is your Stripe account. We never see cards. WP Adapter is not your payment processor.

Skip Stripe if the form only collects a message. Add keys before you turn on a payment form.

Create a form

In Depaza or Claude: “Make a contact form on the Contact page. Name, email, message. Keep it draft.”

create-form stores it on wpadapter.com as draft. You get frm_… and a shortcode.
Optional: pass post_id so the editor plugin can embed it (needs the editor zip + an editor plan on that site).
Look at it. Then set-form-status with status=live.
On WordPress: Sync forms now, or wait for the twice-daily pull. Only live forms are cached on origin.

Draft forms are invisible on the site. Live forms render. You still hit live.

Embed

Shortcode, any page or widget:

Gutenberg: insert the block WP Adapter Form and set the form id.

If the shortcode prints nothing: the form is still draft, the site is not paired, or you have not synced. Troubleshooting.

An unknown type is an error with supported_types[]. It is not silently turned into a text field. File upload and branching logic are not in this version. Honeypot wpa_hp is automatic. Origin allows 10 submits / minute / IP.

Payments

set-form-payment: amount or amount_cents, currency (EUR, DKK, SEK, NOK, GBP, USD, CHF, PLN, CZK), mode once or recurring. Recurring needs interval month or year and an email field on the form. Checkout is the customer’s Stripe. After submit the visitor goes to Stripe, then wpadapter.com/forms/paid.

For subscriptions, add a Stripe webhook to https://wpadapter.com/forms/stripe and paste the whsec_ under Account → Forms.

Without saved Stripe keys the payment form cannot charge. Contact fields still save. WP Adapter SKUs stay EUR; the form charge uses the currency you set.

Notify email

Each live submit emails you. The address must be:

the account inbox, or
an org member, or
an address on the WordPress site’s own domain.

Anything else is refused. That is on purpose.

Entries

Account → Forms lists forms, status, and entry counts. Open a form for the payload. Claude can list-entries (max 50) and get-entry.

Paid flag is set after Stripe Checkout completes.

WordPress admin

WP Adapter Forms: connect, Sync forms now, table of live shortcodes, link to entries on wpadapter.com. There is no field canvas to live in.
